Hi There! Welcome to The Growing Ideas!
I am Angeline Tjia, an Illustrator and Visual Designer based in New York. I am a versatile visual designer who focuses on shape and concepts. Originally from Singapore, with roots in Indonesia, I spent most of my early childhood in China, which has exposed me to an array of cultures and languages. My upbringing has made me trilingual, speaking English, Chinese, and Bahasa Indonesia.
I believe that ideas are ever-changing and always growing, just like much of life. We may have one idea today, but it may grow into something more tomorrow. I love creating visual stories through my work and finding creative ways to solve visual problems. Through my work of illustrating stories I hope to be able to help bring people's visions to life through visual storytelling.
When I am not nose deep into a drawing, you will most likely find me out playing badminton or volleyball, or on the couch with a bag of sour cream and cheddar Ruffle's in hand while watching a k-drama.
